Greek Debt Crisis
While Americans are counting down the days til the presidential election, Greece is counting down til the next meeting of Eurogroup
where they will decide whether to pay out another 31.5 billion Euros
which Greece needs to avoid bankruptcy. There are a few problems
standing in the way of getting this bailout. First and most important,
is that Greece needs to put a new austerity plan in place before the
bailout would be approved and Prime Minister Samaras must convince
Parliament to adopt this plan. The other problem is that the newly
formed government is in danger of falling apart. Greece needs this
bailout to get it's financial status stable in the next two years. Time
is running out as the Eurogroup meets on November 12.http://www.presseurop.eu/en/content/news-brief/2986481-chaotic-countdown-bailout-or-bankruptcy
