economies affected by climate change causing conflict


Climate change is affecting places all over the world. However countries in Africa are being hit hard. These places are being devastated by these climate changes including high temperatures and little rain fall. Rain forests are suffering and drying along with water sources also drying up leaving little in the way of water sources for the people in Africa. The climate changes are causing a lack of resources which for some countries is their source of income. This is causing issues and conflict when it comes to trade. There are many places in Africa who economies are suffering “… Economies that is highly climate-dependent... [Have] high export levels consisting mainly of natural resources. These resources are estimated to contribute about 26 per cent and 13 per cent to the total wealth of low-income and middle-income countries respectively…”
