United States Involvement with the Mexican Revolution

Above is a photograph of the United States military in Mexico during the Mexican Revolution in 1916 at one of the attempted military interventions.

Many groups in the United States helped in the Mexican Revolution while they were associated during the 10 years. The United States held more power during the Mexican Revolution than most would have thought, they had roughly 30% of Mexican land during this era. The United States played a part in political campaigns, and to just overall peace for many Mexicans. Woodrow Wilson was the president of the United States from 1913 to 1921. Wilson was kind of thrown into the Mexican Revolution and was faced with peer pressure of choices about the Mexican Revolution and United States involvement that would change the world. Wilson sent two U.S military interventions, in 1914 and in 1916. The United States made a decision that they would only "aid civil authorities in enforcing the neutrality laws." The one thing that the U.S did not want to do was the add to the chaos in Mexico.
